Our Mission
The mission of ACT Jacksonville is to expose radical islam in our midst by informing and educating the citizens of Jacksonville of the insidious nature of stealth jihad and mobilizing to defeat the spread and implementation of islamic sharia law.
Florida needs to follow Oklahoma's example and do a petition ballot initiative to get an Amendment on the 2012 general election ballot to prohibit the use of Shari'a law in Florida courts. There have already been 4 lawsuits in FL attempting the use of Shari'a law, in violation of the U.S. Constitution. Oklahoma's Amendment was passed overwhelmingly with about 70% of the vote. There is still time to get the required number of signatures, get them certified, and get the Amendment added by the cutoff date. So, how about it? Florida has a fast-growing Muslim population that actively engages in lobbying the Florida Legislature.

ReplyDeleteOklahomas Bill was flawed and we knew it would be overturned due to poor language. However, ACT for America and others supported the Bill to show the overwhelming support for a bill which would protect the American Laws from foreign law which is diametrically opposed to our form of law. Such Bill was passed in Tennessee and Louisian via ACT for America and others and was sponsored by Metz in Florida. It did not make it to a vote and will be re-intorduced this year we hope. It is called "American Laws for American Courts" and has good language which will hold up in the supreme court. We have it being introduced in 28 states.
