Unbelievable and unconscionable...especially when the FBI severed all ties with CAIR in 2009 because of their status as a Co-conspirator in the largest terrorism funding casing in U.S. history (U.S. vs HLF Tial of 2008). Ghasshin Elashi, CAIR director in Texas was sentence to 65 years in prison for his role in the case.
Omar Ahmad, former National Chairman of CAIR was to be prosecuted in spring of 2010, but Eric Holder of the Obama administration, decided to not prosecute Omar and 9 other defendants of over 300 named, despite the successful trial, convictions and a mountain of evidence.
Noteworthy is the fact that Jacksonville Human Rights Commissioner and UNF Professor Parvez Ahmed, replaced Omar Ahmad as the National Chairman of CAIR (4) years prior to the U.S. vs. HLF trial, and only resigned a few months prior to the trial. CAIR and Parvez are part of a current Federal Grand Jury investigation into a myriad of illegal activity. Omar Ahmad was replace by Parvez Ahmed after the following quote was made public "Islam is not in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to be dominant. The Quran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only religion on earth".
